Nacho Ruiz Rizaldos

Nacho Ruiz Rizaldos, wildlife filmmaker, committed naturalist, fascinated by ethnography and passionate falconer. His love for birds of prey brought him closer to nature when he was only 14 years old.
With more than 20 years of experience in nature cinema, he has worked on numerous wildlife series and documentaries around the world with all types of digital media, Cineflex, drones and timelapse techniques.
During the last few years he has written and directed documentaries that have been broadcast on different television channels around the world and won awards at some of the most relevant European nature festivals, which led him to participate as a judge at the Matsalu Film Festival in the year 2018.
His passion is creating films that tell stories of the natural world with high aesthetic value and a conservation message. Nature speaks for itself. In his own words: "what I try to do is transmit emotions to the viewer and bring them closer to the place where we all belong." His other passion is falconry in which he is happy training his birds of prey in the wild.

"Sons of Enkai" 1X60 4K 2018. An intimate look at the relationship between man and nature in one of the most iconic wild places on Earth, the Masai Mara in Kenya.
"Amada Tierra". Aragon TV Series of 7 chapters x 45 min 2017. An approach to the ecosystems of Aragon through the eyes of some famous people born in this region of Spain.
"Time of the Goshawk" 1X52 HD 2016. A poetic film about the art of falconry, its essence and philosophy with the goshawks as protagonists.
